Dr. Hassan Alhariri

Dr. hassan alhariri completed in 1995 his Internal medicine residency at University of Kentucky, one of the top universities in the USA. He obtained the American Board Certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine from University of Louisville, USA. He held several leading positions in the field of Medicine during his career in USA. 

He relocated to Saudi Arabia in end of 2005. He joined Saad Specialist Hospital (one of the major Teaching facilities in KSA), where he was appointed as Section Head for the Pulmonary; Allergy; and Sleep Laboratory departments. He also served as Assistant to Chief Medical Officer and Deputy Chief of the Critical Care and Emergency Departments posts that he held until January 2011. He then joined Rashid Hospital as a consultant physician in internal, pulmonary, and sleep medicine, and he also served as Section Head of the Sleep Laboratory and Sleep Research Program.

Dr Hassan helped in improving the internal medicine, pulmonary, intensive care and sleep services in all the hospitals he worked in. He spent significant time of his work dedicated to humanitarian causes and providing services to the needed communities and patients. In addition, he has significant contributions to the teaching programs in all these hospitals and he established the pulmonary fellowship program in DHA in 2016 and he served as program director till mid-2022. He dedicated to continue the contribution to the local community by serving as investigator, examiner, reviewer, board member& educator in different major committee, medical schools & local organizations in UAE and Dubai Academic Health corporation.

He is a well-known speaker at international conferences on pulmonology and sleep medicine Moreover, his work has been the subject of several publications and his professional memberships include many hospital committees, Arab Health committees, Gulf Respiratory committees, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society.
